About the Pre-Clerkship Phase
The Pre-Clerkship phase forms the first years of the EMP curriculum. Students are introduced to the foundational sciences through an integrated, problem-based learning approach. This phase emphasizes both the biomedical and clinical sciences in an integrated, organ-system-based format.
Students develop core clinical skills and professional attitudes alongside their scientific knowledge, preparing them for the transition into clinical training.
